West Highland Way 2003

The West Highland Way 2003 – The Video Of This Long Distance Footpath

3 friends and myself completed the West Highland Way, Scotland’s famous long distance footpath in August 2003. I wrote about it in an earlier post although the details given the passage of time were sketchy. The photographs from the trip have just been found and here is a video of the scenery and route. It was such an enjoyable trip that we will be repeating it this month, it will be interesting to see if we still feel the same way about it.

  1. Yes it is absolutely right, the West Highland Way is one of the unbelievable routes of hill walking. In this route you start with the lowlands, walk into and through the highlands, along the famous devil’s staircase and finish at the foot of Ben Nevis.

  2. Love the pictures! The colours are much prettier than on my camera. Or maybe thats because the sun was shining so much 🙂
